Who it helps
Anyone who wants to save a video playing in the browser, and optionally get it dubbed into another language.
The problem it solves
Videos that play fine in the browser often cannot be saved, and HLS downloads arrive as broken fragments — plus there is still the language barrier once saved.
What it does
- Auto-detects video streams on a page — direct MP4, WebM and HLS (.m3u8)
- Lists detected streams with resolution and quality variants, with inline preview before download
- Assembles HLS into one flat MP4 entirely in the browser — remux only, no re-encoding, no uploads
- Detects subtitle tracks for download or overlay preview
- A Dub button opens Dub Any Video with the video URL prefilled
- Does not detect or touch DRM-protected video
The companion capture extension for Dub Any Video.
