Who it helps
Asana teams whose rules can create tasks and subtasks but cannot wire dependencies between them.
The problem it solves
Asana rules create sets of subtasks — workflow steps, approvals — but leave them structurally unlinked, so users connect dependencies by hand on every run.
What it does
- “Add dependency” rule action: makes the trigger task depend on a chosen task, the previous task in a section, or another section
- “Wire up subtasks” rule action: chains rule-created subtasks so each step waits for the one before
- Additional rule actions: duplicate task, smart assign, scheduled comment, escalate with a re-check timer
- An on-task actions panel and a scheduled-comment status card inside Asana
- Free and PRO plans; the trial starts on the first real rule execution, not on install
